How Much Can You Make from Adsense?

How Much Can You Make from Adsense?

When you read that a person is making $500 a day on a website using Adsense, remember this is a factor of the traffic to the website. Don’t be fooled into thinking that just because you have Adsense on a site, you will be rolling in money.

The amount of Adsense income that you can earn from a website will ultimately be limited by the traffic that you can attract to the site. You can optimize your ads to the maximum, but there will be a maximum number of viewers based on the popularity of your keywords and your ability to drive traffic to your site.

I have read many times that it is easier to build ten sites that generate $200 each per month than to build one site that generates $2,000 per month. This also diversifies your income streams so you do not lose all your income if Google decides it does not like your $2,000 site any more.

For this reason, I am working on creating new sites for Google Adsense. The first of these is www.best-retirement-calculators.com where I am experimenting with the techniques I am learning from Joel’s book to optimize the ads for higher Adsense income.

I plan to have a few thousand dollars a month of Adsense income flowing in when Linda and I retire. With this “mad money” we can travel and have some fun.

Joel’s book is one of the best ebooks I have read to improve my ability to make that "mad" money on the Internet. Adsense Secrets 4 ranks right up there with Jim Cockrum’s The Silent Sales Machine Hiding on eBay and Chris Chandler’s Google Cash.

Joel Comm's Adsense Secrets 4

If you are using Adsense or you are planning to use Adsense in the future, I highly recommend that you grab this book while it is selling for such a low price. If you do not need it right away, buy it for the future when it will help you make money from Adsense.

To the many Boomer eZine readers who purchased Adsense Secrets 4 after I recommended it in the June mid-month eZine reminder, I applaud you for taking action to improve your ability to make money online. Thanks for acting on my recommendation.

iPASS Affiliate Seminar Programme by AKTLG

I gave up a two day weekend on 26 and 27 July, to attend the iPASS Affiliate Seminar conducted by Stuart Tan. This boyish looking young man is simply quite amazing, and he delivers above expectations. A practitioner graduate in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Stuart really impresses with his deep and broad knowledge on Internet Marketing and Learning. I have previously attended several Internet Marketing programmes conducted by visiting speakers and trainers, who are not residentially Singapore based. These visiting trainers come and go, and sad is the student who spent thousands of dollars on their CD canned programme without getting anywhere when they get 'stuck' with the software programme, and has no one to turn to for emergency help or advice. I have yet to make much headway with some of the complicated foreign imported Internet Learning programmes.
But with Stuart Tan and the locally based AKLTG centre, at least you can take security and comfort in the fact that if you get stuck with a programme, you can turn to a local trainer or coach to help you out. .
This was the first time I had attended a training session by Stuart Tan. Do not be put off by his youthfulness. This trainer can certainly deliver with knowledge, content and confidence. At around S$300 for a family or buddy pair of two participants, the Affiliate Training Programme from AKTLG was worth every Singapore cent. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone having an interest in Internet Marketing, to attend the weekend preview programme. Stuart gave good value whilst holding back very little. I am seriously considering signing up for his 12 month Inner Circle Mastery programme, after August. I believe that the fees invested could well be fully recovered even before the programme ends. To find out more, do visit their website at www.ImaHub.com/affiliate to register for their next preview seminar.

The Longevity of Marriage

A Timeless Treasure - Lost and Found.

By end of this year, 30 November 2008, my wife and I would be celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary.

Forty years is a long time to be staying married together, considering that in today's connected internet world, and fast paced global society, more and more marriages do not even make it past 20 years.

If you read the Book of Exodus you will remember how the Jewish nation spent 40 long years wandering in the desert, before they entered the Promised Land. It was a journey of endurance, which called for human temperance, patience, unity of spirit, long suffering, and most important of all, keeping God always at the centre and heart of this Jewish nation.

It requires maintaining righteous relationships across all families, with kinsmen and tribal cousins, under some of the most trying and adverse living, environmental and hostile climatic conditions.

It was to be a long journey which tested the fortitude and patience of every living soul in that Jewish community. But for the calming spirit of God, working through His reluctant but faithful servant, Moses, this Jewish nation would have revolted then, and been extinguished a long time ago, through social disintergration.

The same could be said for a marriage relationship. For a marriage to cross the forty year divide, and enter into a further lifetime of togetherness, the relationship between a husband and his wife must also depend on God for grace, compassion, guidance and faithfulness. He is the doer and finisher of our faith.

It is said that the journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. So whether it is measured in years or in miles, one could liken an enduring marriage, to a journey of a thousand miles, spread over many years. In fact, it is more than that.

"For better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health", in the eyes of God, a marriage, once consummated, is a public declaration before God between ONE man and ONE woman ONLY, committed to each other for life, for all eternity and beyond. A marriage is a lifetime partnership based on love, sharing, faithfulness, caring, sharing, and give and take.

A declaration and commitment of marriage vows is not about 'having the hots' for sex in a moment of uncontrollable desire. In one single aroused state of mind, a moment of indiscretion inflamed by the flesh, can lead to a lifetime of regrets.

So a lifetime marriage commitment is not just about living for the now. It is about both partners working together for the future. It is about cultivating and growing a haven of peace and understanding in the home, of give and take between spouses and within the family members, of accepting and tolerating the good and the bad as it comes, of sharing and caring, and about honoring and respecting one another, and most importantly, about worshipping together, growing in the faith, and believing and trusting in the same God.

A once popular hit movie titled 'Love Story' had this for a promotional tagline. "Love is never having to say you're sorry"

How idealistic! How romantic! And how naïve! “ On the contrary, love is about having to say sorry, some of the time, be quick to forgive nor be hesitant to ask for forgiveness, all the time”

Marriage is never meant to be a bed of roses, nor just about song, dinner and wine. It requires work. It requires patience. It requires tolerance. It requires forbearance from both sides. And it requires love to be honored and nurtured throughout the years.

It calls for remembering one another's special days, like birthdays, anniversaries, Valentine Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Grandparent's Day, Youth Day, Children's Day and Family Reunion Day.

A poet once wrote these memorable words:
"How do I love thee? Let me count the ways..."
by Elizabeth Barrett Browning (1806-1861)

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. I love thee to the depth and breadth and height, my soul can reach, when feeling out of sight. For the ends of Being and ideal Grace, I love thee to the level of everyday's most quiet need, by sun and candle-light. I love thee freely, as men strive for Right; I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise. I love thee with a passion put to use. In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith, I love thee with a love I seemed to lose. With my lost saints, --- I love thee with the breath, smiles, tears, of all my life! --- and, if God choose, I shall but love thee better after death.

So for your marriage to last a life time, daily say a prayer, and make this your daily heavenly offering to remind yourself.

"Don't just count the days, but make every day count....."

The Super Affiliate Handbook by Rosalind Gardner

The Super Affiliate Handbook by Rosalind Gardner: "This is the amazing true story of how one woman, with no previous business experience, earns $500,000+ per year ... selling other people's stuff online!

Personal Message from the Author, Rosalind Gardner
Dear Aspiring Netpreneur,
I am appalled by the sheer volume of hype put forth by online scammers who promise to teach you 'how to earn HUGE money online' ...and you should be as well.
They'll try to sell you some expensive 'Internet Mall' or money-making scheme (that stopped working 7 years ago) and that won't help you make 2 red cents, let alone a comfortable living.
The fact is that most of these hucksters' never earned a dime online selling real products - they just promote bogus business opportunities!
If you're tired of the B.S. and want the truth about working as an Affiliate marketer - stick around - this page and the Super Affiliate Handbook's step-by-step business plan could do for you what it has done for thousands of others - change your life for the better!
Setting the Record Straight about Opportunities in the Affiliate Marketing Industry
I get angry every time I hear someone say that there's no money to be made as an affiliate marketer. What a pile of unadulterated cow dung! Those who try to tell you that affiliates can't make a living online:

Haven't tried affiliate marketing, or;
Haven't followed the right business plan, or;
Are so greedy that they don't want you to share in the wealth.
The truth is, an entire industry has grown around online affiliate marketing since the mid-1990's and it is getting bigger all the time.
Conventions are regularly held and attended by thousands of people and there's even an offline magazine devoted entirely to the subject of affiliate ma"

Ok, go ahead and blog it to me

Gee, I first started this Writers' BlogK in January 2007, and after the last entry I have suffered from amnesia and writer's bloCK, or is it bloGK?

Why did I not continue? I had forgotten my password and simply did not bother to login again, until today. Thanks to Stuart Tan's workshop today, he has just rekindled my interest in
"Back to Blog"

Yes I do enjoy writing but how do I get others to visit my blog site and get them to contribute their postings and comments. It is no fun blogging to yourself. So all you guys and gals out there, if you do happen to drop in on this blogsite, do contribute an opinion or two, to share your thoughts and blogging know-how with me.

I neeeeeed someone to talk to. It gets a bit lonely after a while, when there is no one to blog with.
I am still a newbie at this blogging business, and could do with a little hand holding and coaching. So go ahead and make my day. Blog it to me, NOW!

What seems so simple to others, is still a bloody blogging mystery to me. So go ahead and blog it to me, baby!

Why Write?

We write for different reasons. A letter to someone we love. A diary for ourselves, to record our feelings, thoughts and events. A piece of poem, because we suddenly feel inspired, or stirred by something or someone that brings out the creative juices in us.

We write to express ourselves. Sometimes we can even write out a prayer, when there is no one else to turn to for the outpouring of our emotions and grief. Releasing our innermost feelings in a letter to God, or to ourselves, can be good self therapy for 'letting go' a hurt or anger that is bottled up inside.

Writing also trains us to focus our thoughts on an issue or unresolved conflict. Reading back on what we have written can help us to analyse our feelings better, when we pull back and re-examine our thoughts, words and action more objectively.

So whatever our reasons for putting words on paper, or screen, just write. It is one way of talking to ourself, when no one else wants to listen to us.

2 Blog or Not 2 Blog? That's the question?

OK, I have just taken two giant steps to enter the blog community. For a senior citizen, this is a major breakthrough. It is like entering a twilight zone. Suddenly you find your self transported into an alien dimension where people talk to each other, share their views, critique what you write, run you down, ridicule you, and can even throw insults and abuse at you. In blogworths of course! Reminds me of Brutus and Marc Anthony speaking to the Roman mob. One moment they could be praising you, and the next moment they want to crucify and hang you. Ah, but that's all part of going public.

From the little I am learning about the blog community, I am discovering that the internet forum place is about the most democratic of open society. Be prepared to expect everything, and anything, to be thrown at you, if you so much as have an opinion on the web.

But then sticks and stone may break my bone ..

Overcoming Writer's Blogk

This is my second posting attempt at blogging. I was introduced to blogspot just a few days ago by John, a new found friend, from www.Boomer-eZine.com. I went to Bloggerspot.com and managed to create an account. Once you able to get in, the instructions are reasonably easy to follow.

I cannot say that I feel totally comfortable about blogging and sharing my thoughts in the public domain, unless it is to contribute a point of view. In some respect it is like journalism and sharing your thoughts in the public forum pages of the national press. We need to be careful with what we say and with our outpourings.

As for me I have just started and will let the river run its course and see where it takes me from here.

Gift of Life

We make a living by what we get.
We make a life by what we give.
To know and not to do, is not yet to know.
To do and not to know, is not the way to go.
You cannot change yesterday, but you can plan for tomorrow.
You have been given the gift of life, so how will you live it.
To live for others' benefit, or for self pleasure and deceit.
What you give to others, in like measure will you receive.
Be honest and true to thyself, and with others do not deceive.
